I recently stayed at this hotel and found the location to be quite good, close to SDSU and not too far from the Gaslamp District. The rooms, however, were a bit lacking with limited amenities like USB connections. The service was friendly and helpful, making it an overall decent experience, but I had some concerns about safety in the area and the dining options left a bit to be desired.

The rooms were a bit dated and didn't have USB connections or plugs by the nightstand, which was inconvenient. Also, there was no hallway lighting during my stay, making it feel kind of eerie.

The staff was courteous and friendly, always ready to help when I needed something, which made my stay more pleasant.

The hotel is located near SDSU and is just a short drive from Mission Beach, but I didn't feel entirely safe as there were homeless people walking around in the parking lot.
